On March 11, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck in the Pacific Ocean near Northeastern Japan causing widespread destruction and triggering powerful tsunami.
...The confirmed death toll of this disaster has now surpassed 10,000 with more than 17,000 still listed as officially missing.
Adding to the panic are the nuclear power stations that were crippled during the massive earthquake and tsunami, raising the risk of uncontrolled radiation.

What we can do to help:
Major disasters always require a huge amount of international support to provide relief and long term recovery efforts.
In the case of Japan, these initial funds will help survivors and victims get necessary services. More than 2,500 evacuation centers have been set up in local prefectures, there are widespread shortages of food, water, fuel and basic supplies.
With your help, this benefit will raise a large sum to donate to the Americares Japan relief effort and aid in the deliverance of medical assistance, first aid supplies, and basic everyday necessities.

Come share your compassion and help send healing support to Japan's Tsunami damaged coastline.  During this 1 hour meditation session, you will learn a self-healing Reiki sequence to reduce stress, improve intuition, release fears, and improve self-expression.  We will use a Reiki Distance Healing technique and personal affirmations, as well as a Reiki circle meditation to send love and healing energy to Japan.  Plus, each participant will receive a mini Energizer boost from Lira, our resident Reiki Practitioner.  Come to share, come to heal, come to be.   Participants are encouraged to bring a journal, favorite affirmation, and warm comfortable clothing.
